Our

Mission & Values

We are dedicated to provide aid and assistance to disabled and indigent members and their families, and to promote the welfare of the fire service within the Setauket Fire District and it's contracted territories.

Founded over 60 years ago, in 1961, the Setauket Volunteer Firemen's Benevolent Association Inc. was formed for 3 distinct purposes:

  1. For the promotion of brotherly and sisterly relations amongst the members of the Setauket Volunteer Firemen's Benevolent Association.
  2. The relief, aid, and assistance of such members and their families who are disabled or indigent.
  3. The promotion of the welfare of the volunteer fire service within the Setauket Fire District and any territory or areas provided with fire protection by contract with such fire district.
